Due to the AIDS pandemic and other social problems, there are many women/men who are the sole breadwinners for their families, and many of these are ill-educated or unskilled in our community. There are also a lot of youngsters who dropped out of school with no opportunity for a good job. LEO will start training such women/men/youngsters to manufacture small furniture. We were donated a semi-industrial wood working machine and small equipment like clamps, drill, glue, etc. to get going.
A small wood workshop had been build where all activities take place. A 3 week training has been given to 3 community members. Look at the table below, their first finished product. Doesn't it lookamazing?
